On April 8, Katie Herzog and Jesse Singal released episode 159 their Blocked and Reported podcast.

The title segment is an independent report on the questionable actions taken by Unitarian Universalist Minsters Association (UUMA), and the Ministerial Fellowship Committee that resulted in the removal of from Fellowship with the UUA of two long term UUA ministers: Todd Eklof (for publishing a “harmful” book — The Gadfly Papers), and Kate Rohde ostensibly for “interfering in another ministry” (though she believes it was really for comments she made in support of Todd Eklof in private facebook groups). Kate had retired from full time ministry 6 years earlier.

Herzog tells the whole backstory. It’s worth a listen. But if you try to listen to the podcast from the beginning you will note that it’s the second segment of the podcast. (the link above is just to the titled second segment.)

The Podcast description reads:

After Jesse introduces an exciting new feature representing cutting-edge podcasting technology, and then engages in some Diaper Talk with Katie, Katie tells Jesse the story of the mind-blowing moral panic that has caused a large swath of the Unitarian Universalist Association to melt down…

Note: The full original episode included a long introductory segment on Adult Diaper fetishes. So, at our request, on April 16, Katie Herzog posted the standalone title segment embedded above on Blocked and Reported’s Youtube channel for us to link to. Here is a link to the full episode (with the adult diaper segment).

It turns out this podcast has an audience of over 35,000 followers, which includes many UUs who had listened to this podcast, most of whom were completely unaware of the “UU church meltdown.” Many have left reddit comments on this podcast.
