Email Tips for Getting Out the Word

  1. Make good use of subject lines
  2. Keep messages clear and brief
  3. Email one person at a time if you can, unless using a group e-list 
  4. Be cautious about emailing a large group of people at once, unless you are using a group people have subscribed to (ie Google groups)
  5. Put multiple email addresses on the BCC line. This respect the privacy of the recipients, and prevents back and forth conversation in the group that others may find intrusive, annoying or upsetting.
